Thirteen Yards To Victory, Behind The Scenes
The press release and information about the project can be found at Forbes as well as many other sources. This project was a photographic slam dance, the days warning, one day to scout and shoot with no power at any one of our locations. Look for final images coming soon at James Pickett Photography. All behind the scenes images by Evan Myers of Balboni Communications Group, Boston.
Lighting Sneak Peek…
A general overview of the setup used to photograph Aubrey Dee. One of the final images can be found here. I cannot express enough how good she is, and how fun it is to work with her. Image taken at Sacandaga Lake.
Behind The Scenes with Jared Funari
Albany NY based musician Jared Funari contracted me to create images for his press kit, there is only one behind the scenes image, and a couple samples from his shoot… Sometimes it just comes to me five minutes before we start shooting, other times I plan for weeks. In the case of Jared’s shoot it was a 50/50 split. The sunset location was planned and researched for weeks, the 442 was a last minute decision that worked out amazingly.

Photoshoot at New Jersey Motorsports Park
I was contracted by European Car Magazine to shoot two vehicles while attending an open track day at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Vehicle number one was an Audi R8 built by Performance Outfitters Group to win the Bull Run, as of this writing the Bull Run is under way and results are not out. Vehicle number two was a Porsche 930 slant nose with a 911T conversion built by Fabspeed Motorsports. The following video features images taken by the staff of Fabspeed Motorsports, and myself photographing the 930/911T from the back of a heavily modified Porsche Cayenne Turbo… I live for this. Stay tuned for the R8 video and stills as shot for the magazine.
